Tore Recycling Centre
added on Monday 31st December 2007 by Ian Fraser

Project Value: More than £100,000.00
Gunn MacPhee & Associates Ltd. were engaged by Tore Recycling Ltd. to design the civil engineering infrastructure for a proposed new construction material recycling centre within Mullans Wood near Tore.
Since the proposed site was on existing plantation woodland, consultation with local authorities, government agencies and non-government organisations was required before the planning application was submitted. These included:
· Water management plans
· Dust management plans
· Protected species assessments
· Noise levels assessments
· The visual impact assessments
· Local archaeology assessments
Many of these assessments were organised or carried out by Gunn MacPhee & Associates own in-house Environmental Engineers, while specialists were employed for specific assessments.
